Mayfield Mastering in Nashville hosted Merlene and the four Darkhorsemen for the final phase of her soon to be released CD "Acoustic Portrait". We were thrilled to be able to work with the mastering master John Mayfield at his new facility in the Music City. After the hard work was out of the way we all stopped by Mike O'Neil's Serenity Studio for some of Dave Brock's KC BBQ and a little jamm'in with the likes of Johnny Neel, Shaun Murphy, Rick Hendricks and Larry Van Loon. A visit to Printer's Alley and Tootie's rounded out a wonderful week-end. Thanks to you all for the Tennesee hospitality. We hope to be able to return the favor when ya'll come through KC.
